Growing up on my family’s dairy farm I learned a few things about life. An important one was never stand down wind of a cow. More importantly I learned to appreciate how our food ends up in the grocery store and have decided to make a career in the agriculture industry. Currently I am finishing my degree at the Ontario Agricultural College (GO AGGIES!!!) in Guelph, Ontario and am having a great time doing it. This blog is part of a class assignment, but has provided me a way to spill off about new issues, toys or trends involved in agriculture. I am by no means an expert but am interested to hear from people that believe they are. If you find any new things that you think are important or just plain cool, let me know and I can post them up.

Hi Early Milker,

We’re thinking about doing a blog like this here at Alberta Milk – what a neat idea! Loved all your posts!
